About PriceNow
PriceNow is an independent New Zealand price comparison site. We collect prices from retailers, put them side by side, and sort them by what you actually pay — so a two-minute search saves you the twenty it used to take.
Why we built it
Buying anything substantial in New Zealand — a heat pump, a laptop, a washing machine — means opening a dozen tabs and comparing prices that are written differently on every site. One store bundles delivery, another adds it at checkout, a third has the item listed under a model number you can't find anywhere else.
PriceNow does that legwork once, for everyone. Search a product name or paste the model number off the box, and you get one clean list: every price we track, delivery included, cheapest first.
What we track
- Electronics, computers, phones, cameras, audio and gaming gear
- Whiteware, kitchen appliances and heating
- Prices in NZD, inclusive of GST, as published by the retailer
- Delivery cost and stock status where the retailer publishes them
We're adding retailers steadily. Where we currently list a single seller for a product, the comparison view fills in automatically the moment a second retailer lists the same item.
How we stay independent
Ranking is never for sale. Results are ordered by total price — the product price plus delivery — not by who pays us. Some retailers partner with us and we may earn a commission when you click through to them; that relationship never changes where a price sits in the list, and it never changes the price you pay.
We also don't sell your data, and you don't need an account to use the site. Read more in how we compare prices and our privacy policy.
